Supervisor - Pharmacy Technician - $2,000 Sign On Bonus Available

About the Role

At The Cancer & Hematology Centers, we are dedicated to providing advanced treatments, innovative research, and compassionate care to cancer patients and their families. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to join our team and support the meaningful work of our community oncologists and patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage Pharmacy Technicians' workloads, including assigning and reassigning tasks to optimize team performance.
• Monitor Pharmacy Technician staff performance, document noteworthy instances, and participate in writing formal performance reviews.
• Collaborate with management to take corrective action for substandard performance, conduct, attendance, or punctuality.
• Oversee Pharmacy Technician staff scheduling, including time and travel reimbursement records.
• Process time reporting, time off requests, and travel reimbursement requests in compliance with department and organizational policies.
• Provide coverage as a staff-level Pharmacy Technician when needed, including working scheduled shifts and facilitating technician coverage for vacation or sick calls.
• Assist in training new technicians to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Interpret and analyze detailed pharmacy reports from software applications for further evaluation by Pharmacy Management.
• Assist in reconciling retail pharmacy claims and payments.

Qualifications

• Licensed Michigan Pharmacy Technician.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail and/or infusion pharmacy.
• Oncology and management experience preferred.
