About the role
LRS is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee all operations activities within an assigned geographical area. This role is critical in ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance across the department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee driver or laborer safety and operational efficiency
- Analyze overall efficiency of the department and report findings to upper management
- Schedule shifts, plan for call-ins/no-shows, and report department metrics and performance
- Evaluate and perform facility, area, or route visits and assessments
- Evaluate customer support and problem-solving to address customer issues
- Lead and supervise laborers or drivers within the assigned facility or geographical area
- Work positively under unpredictable situations and problems
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Operations Supervisor, preferably in waste management, manufacturing, or trucking/transportation industries
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one if supervising drivers
- Multi-tasking, strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Detailed orientation, upbeat attitude, and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software skills
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including prolonged sitting, frequent hand and finger use, standing, walking, reaching, talking, and hearing
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform routine maintenance operations
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
Qualifications
- Ability to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, in a climate-controlled environment with heating and air conditioning
- May be required to move around the work site and be exposed to various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow
- May be exposed to high noise levels from trucks and machinery while outside typical office setting

Pay & Benefits
The starting salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 per year, plus a bonus. Please note that specific details regarding benefits may vary based on company policy and local regulations.
