About the role
The Operations Supervisor for Deluxe Cinema plays a crucial role in maintaining the production pipeline, meeting deadlines, and supporting department managers. This position requires prompt handling of operations staff, equipment, or production flow issues, utilizing strong troubleshooting and communication skills and any available administrative and technical resources. Prioritize, communicate, and complete additional tasks from the management team.
What You’ll Do
- Understand Deluxe Cinema workflows to communicate and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Enforce procedures and assist in workflow implementations.
- Ensure operations are compliant with security protocols.
- Maintain and seek efficiency opportunities.
- Maintain the accuracy of procedural documentation.
- Support management with disseminating information to operations staff.
- Responsible for setting a positive team environment.
- Facilitate communication across departments.
- Troubleshoot and appropriately escalate any issue that might hinder production.
- Provide internal technical support to staff and respond to technical inquiries.
- Support completing any nonstandard, complex, or time-sensitive workflows and projects.
What You Bring
- Ability to work under High-Pressure situations (Deadlines/High Profile client interaction…)
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and software (Transkoder, Clipster, Resolve, Baselight, Pro Tools, Aspera P2P, Signiant, and Faspex)
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
- Utilize critical thinking to solve and prevent problems.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Cinema workflows and standards.
- Experience with Cinema and mastering technology toolsets and infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite for administrative efficiencies.
- Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure and operations is a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Cinema Post-Production
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in program management and customer service
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University or equivalent professional experience
Pay
This role is based in Burbank California and the base pay for this role is $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
