About the role

Rail Terminal Supervisor of Operations at PRS Auto, Louisville, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

  • Cook up daily vehicle loading/unloading operations onto autorack railcars.
  • Oversee railcar placement, readiness, and general railcar handling activities.
  • Lead, support, and motivate your team while monitoring productivity and performance.
  • Ensure all safety standards and procedures are followed consistently.
  • Communicate with customers and partners to support vehicle flow and railcar availability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and vehicle security.
  • Assign daily duties and manage staffing levels.
  • Work closely with terminal leadership to improve operational efficiency and processes.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $20-$25 per hour (Commensurate with experience).
  • Schedule: Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week with some overtime available).
  • Shifts: Various shift times available – primarily day shift operations.
