Supervisor of Housekeeping and Laundry Services - Full Time
About the role
NHC fosters an environment of teamwork and provides opportunities to grow. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and at least 2 years housekeeping/laundry experience in healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that housekeepers clean patient bathrooms including sinks, toilets, tubs and showers
- Ensure that housekeepers empty garbage cans in patient rooms, patient bathrooms, activity areas and other areas throughout the center
- Ensure that patient areas are clean, including mopping and/or buffing floors, dusting furniture both on top and underneath
- Ensure that hallways are clean of debris, mopped, stripped and buffed following company and center policies and procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years housekeeping/laundry experience in healthcare setting
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Must be able to read and understand standard English
- Effective customer service skills
- Compassion towards our patients and residents
