Supervisor of Food and Nutrition Services

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage staffing levels
• Minimize food substitutions
• Ensure all service stations remain open and efficient
• Maintain temperature logs
• Cleanliness schedules
• Timely execution of duties
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Train staff on inspection criteria and safe work practices
• Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, patients, and leadership
• Manage employee performance, scheduling, and cross-training
• Support team development through onboarding, mentoring, and improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Personal computer hardware
• Local area networks (Novell, Windows NT, or UNIX)
• Microsoft Word (or other wordprocessing application)
• Microsoft Word Excel (or other spreadsheet application)
• Foodservice operation
• High School Grad or Equiv
• Associate degree preferred
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Qualifications

• 2+ years hospital food service experience with working knowledge of patient diets

Skills

• Knowledge of personal computer hardware
• Experience with local area networks (Novell, Windows NT, or UNIX)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in foodservice operations
