Supervisor, Materials
About the role
Execute essential job functions like receiving, inspecting, and moving materials to inventory and production. Prepare, document, and package for shipment, including Bills of Lading and shipment coordination. Manage the shipping and receipt of all products, materials and supplies. Receive the materials, recording inventory locations. Partner and communicate with Production Managers and Vendor Partners to complete tasks required to meet project goals to support production. Track and assist in managing inventory levels and assist in determining material requirements for new projects. Works with assembly and quality groups to ensure all issues are closed and inspections are complete prior to bagging operation. Contribute to a clean, orderly, and safe work environment. Follow all company and OSHA required safety requirements. Supervise bagging and loading operations. Tracks and schedules material movement to production lines.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Licensure/Certifications: N/A.
- Experience: 2 years of college or equivalent work experience in the manufacturing or construction industry desired.
Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of MRP systems.
Skills
- Ability to lift and place packages by hand weighing 40 pounds or less.
- Ability to be forktruck certified inside 90 days.
- Sitting/Standing/Walking for extended time.

Schedule
Majority of time spent in a factory and office environment. May be required to sit/stand at desk/computer, and/or walk the production floor for extended time.
