Supervisor Maintenance I&C

About the Role

Directly responsible for supervising, assigning, and coordinating Maintenance Division activities to ensure a productive workforce that supports divisional, departmental, Clean Energy Center (CEC), and corporate goals while adhering to company policies and local, state, and federal regulations. You will interface with department schedulers and planners to execute work, recommend training and procedure changes, and participate as an Emergency Plan team member.

Responsibilities

• Supervise craft personnel to ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively by qualified workers in accordance with CEC procedures, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations, and the CEC schedule.
• Ensure department personnel are properly supervised, trained, and qualified, including emergency plan qualifications.
• Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management, including disciplinary action for assigned employees.
• Communicate significant CEC and personnel issues to the Maintenance Manager and applicable levels of management.
• Foster open communication and collaboration between internal and external organizations, including INPO and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure effective communication of company programs, policies, and feedback from employees.
• Participate in work control, coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online, load reductions, forced outages, and refuel outages.
• Support and administer Maintenance processes, such as training, surveillance, procedure revisions, and the Corrective Action Program (CAP).
• Identify and support improvement opportunities in work practices.
• Supervise vendor inspections and repair of CEC equipment, ensuring effective procurement and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of corporate, CEC, and divisional business goals.
• Perform additional duties as directed, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 6 years of related experience, OR
• Associate's degree in a technical discipline with 4 years of related experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2 years of related experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Fluent in electronic work management systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations.

Pay

Expected salary range of $133,200 to $148,000, based on experience.
