Supervisor Laboratory Section - Hematology - Full Time - Days - 8hr FPH

About the role

Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Laboratory Services and the Medical Director(s) of the Laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Plans and organizes workflow for designated campus
• Provides technical expertise
• General supervision of personnel
• Maintains regulatory compliance in laboratory section of responsibility
• Performs all functions of Lab Testing for respective area
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Education Requirement: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CLS preferred. 2 years prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum Experience Requirement: 3-5 years of experience as a CLS preferred. 2 years prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Minimum License Requirement: Current California CLS license. A sixty-day grace period for renewals is granted to allow the Department processing time. The licensee is allowed to practice his/her trade beyond the license expiration date through the end of the grace period.
