About the role

Eversource seeks a skilled Operations Support Supervisor to oversee and improve administrative functions, payroll processing, and financial reporting. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage union and non-union employees in various work centers.
  • Oversee and standardize operations administrative functions.
  • Train and develop supervisors and union employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor work activities for compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Design, modify, and streamline workflows and processes.
  • Support the financial reporting activities related to specific Operations areas.
  • Assist in reviewing and approving ERP invoices and communicating discrepancies to vendors.
  • Manage and analyze contract payroll rules and results in the payroll system.
  • Train and develop union employees and management team on contract pay rules.
  • Conduct audits and tests of the payroll system.
  • Ensure proper accounting is present and documented for budget purposes.
  • Work with field operations management to monitor operating area spending.
  • Assist in monitoring the financial Work Order Models to accurately forecast projected O&M and Capital spending.
  • Analyze and prepare variance analysis, as necessary.
  • Provide reports, projects, and requests such as Property Damage invoice Management, Work Order Closing, Meter Service Exceptions, etc., to meet goal objectives.
  • Analyze and monitor all emergency response documentation (t-tickets) in BI System.
  • Evaluate and determine if a work order is needed.
  • Make presentations to upper-level management, as required.
  • Serve as liaison for Operations with Finance & Accounting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Strategic and Long-Range Planning Groups.
  • Set safety expectations for employees and resolve safety issues and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Serve as Acting Manager, Investment Planning Administration as needed.

Requirements

This position requires extensive knowledge of union contracts, high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction, and the ability to drive organizational change. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of related experience and an associate's degree in business or a related field.

Benefits

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program, including a potential incentive. The annual salary range for this position is $107,420.00 - $119,360.00. Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles.
