About the Role

As a Field Services Supervisor at Verra Mobility, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the deployment of Automated Photo Enforcement Systems across active work zones throughout the state. You will ensure the team achieves operational standards of 99% deployment execution and a 95% issuance rate. This position requires daily reporting to the regional depot and demands a blend of technical expertise and strong customer support experience. Your leadership will drive transformative changes, deliver operational performance through quality metrics, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a team of full-time and temporary mobile operators, including hiring, performance analysis, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with Field Service, Client Service, and Account Managers to identify improvement areas and enhance client relations.
  • Develop and maintain weekly team schedules to optimize operational efficiency while considering budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct routine weekly field audits of operators to ensure adherence to standards and operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain inventory levels for the Depot and vehicles, ensuring operational supplies are readily available.
  • Diagnose and perform repairs on equipment and enforcement systems to ensure maximum system availability and reliability.
  • Strategically prioritize, plan, and execute work efforts to balance workload across the team.
  • Ensure all deployments comply with state legislation and current program standards.
  • Oversee triaging and resolution of deployments within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain full compliance with SLA requirements related to Field Services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with increasing responsibility in operations and/or field services roles.
  • Minimum 2 years of effective people leadership, including work direction, motivation, coaching, and developing staff to achieve a consistently positive client experience and SLA attainment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Operation Management, Business Management, Logistics and Supply Chain, and/or Construction Management.
  • Experience in the Photo Enforcement Industry.
  • Proficiency with Office products like Excel and PowerPoint for report generation.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with initiative in constructing and analyzing data to evaluate performance and transactional quality.
  • OSHA or other safety training certifications.

Work Environment

This office-based position fosters direct collaboration with your team and other departments through a structured schedule, including regular in-person meetings and team-building activities. Some weekend and overtime work may be required, along with overnight travel. Work-from-home opportunities are available based on business needs and leader approval.

You may have exposure to outside weather conditions (wet, humid, extreme cold/heat), dusty and noisy environments, high or precarious places, moving traffic, and occasional night work with reduced visibility. Up to 50% travel (site visits), working outdoors, or driving is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily field work on outside construction/service sites involving long-term standing and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse conditions.
  • Use of hands to handle, finger, or feel; reach, climb, balance, crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel, and sit.
  • Frequent ladder use, including climbing, descending, balancing, and working safely at heights for long periods.
  • Good driving record and ability to see (close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus).
  • Regularly lift and maneuver awkward equipment up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds up and down a ladder.
  • Wear protective equipment in the field, including reflective gear, work boots, safety glasses, and hard hats.
