About the role
We are currently seeking a Supervisor of Echo Laboratory to join our team. As our Supervisor of Echo Laboratory, you will direct departmental technical activities and staff in the Echo department.
- Performs and processes M-Mode, Two dimensional, Color Flow and Doppler Echocardiograms; assists with Transesophageal Echocardiograms
- General supervision of the technical staff
- Delegation of specific responsibilities to technical staff
- Compliance of technical staff to the ICAEL standards
- Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Working with the medical director, medical staff and technical staff to ensure quality patient care
- Daily technical operation of the laboratory (staff scheduling, patient scheduling, laboratory record keeping)
- All laboratory duties delegated by the medical director, department director or Clinical manager
Requirements
- Graduation from accredited Echocardiography program
- ARDMS or CCI registered
- Current (AHA) BLS
- Documented past experience with ICAEL standards
- 1-3 years of Supervisory Experience in Echocardiography
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- PC skills
