SUPERVISOR DINING RM BREW BR-Eldorado Scioto Downs Columbus, Ohio

Responsibilities

• Work closely with upper management and co-managers to include new products, training methods, policies and procedures in current and future training programs.
• Involvement in the development of new handbooks and training manuals.
• Knowledge of dining room fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of food, liquor, beer and wine as associated with casual dining establishment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and through written documents to staff, co-managers and upper management.
• Handle guests in all situations maintaining a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Execute Family Style Service at all times with Guests and Team Members.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Energetic, highly self-motivated and independent.
• Prominent leadership qualities.
• Able to recognize operational needs and analyze and facilitate the changes required in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Able to stand and/or work on feet for extended period of time and able to repeatedly lift up to twenty pounds.
• Two+ years of prior hands-on experience in a dining room or food service atmosphere is a necessity.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel knowledge.
• Able to attend all company and departmental meetings and training programs as directed by upper-management.
• Able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods.
• May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• At least 21 years old.
• Able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing.
• Able to pass a background investigation.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds.
• Able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively.
• Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment.
• Maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
• Able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period.
• Able to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.
