Position Highlights
- Oversees the daily operations of the Cytology laboratory section
- Supervises technical supervision of all departmental processes, testing procedures, and personnel
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Performs budget review and preparation, and inventory management
- May perform technologist or assistant duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cytology
- FL Cytotechnologist license at supervisor level
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the clinical laboratory setting
- Knowledge of clinical laboratory processes and workflow
- Experience with laboratory information systems
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technical problems
- Adapt positively to change
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant supervisory experience preferred
Pay
The salary range for this position is $91,356.20 - $139,432.80. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
