About the role

The Supervisor of General Radiology oversees and coordinates diagnostic x-ray procedures and activities of assigned staff. This role requires working with Radiologists and department management to implement department and hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate diagnostic x-ray procedures and activities of assigned staff.
• Work with Radiologists and department management to implement department and hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Provide oversight and coordination of all diagnostic x-ray procedures and activities of assigned staff.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and National Patient Safety standards.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) and (CT) required
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Vocational School Graduate of an approved Radiology Program
• 3 - 5 years experience as a registered radiologic technologist in a hospital setting; 1 - 2 years supervisory experience preferred
