Supervisor CRT Float Pool - Resource Team
Position Summary
The Supervisor, Central Resource Team Float Pool leads and oversees the Central Resource Team's (CRT) non-clinical float pool Associates across the Health First Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). The Supervisor, Central Resource Team Float Pool coordinates staffing resources, supervises operational activities, manages schedules and timekeeping, while ensuring compliance to Health First’s policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements. The Supervisor, Central Resource Team Float Pool partners with leaders across the IDN to ensure the appropriate deployment of float pool resources, maintain effective staffing practices, and support operational excellence through accurate personnel management, accountability, and continuous engagement of float pool Associates while contributing to the achievement of IDN goals and service standards.
Primary Accountabilities
- Supervises operational activities of the non-clinical float pool Associates consistent, and ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Schedules work, authorizes time-off requests, oversees time keeping, and manages time and attendance for assigned float pool Associates.
- Maintains and verifies personnel documentation is accurate, submitted in a timely manner including performance evaluations, competency assessments, certifications, annual accountability requirements, and training records.
- Establishes productive, collaborative relationships with department Associates and other leaders across the IDN to ensure Health First’s goals are achieved.
- Initiates resolution of internal and external Associate and customer complaints and concerns.
- Administers reports, documents, payroll records, surveys, and other required data as needed.
- Participates in the development and presentation of orientation, education, and training programs to system wide float pool associates, and ensures compliance with required training, orientation, competencies.
- Performs additional duties related to healthcare operations as delegated and assigned by CRT leadership.

Work Experience
- Education: Associate’s degree in arts, sciences, or a relevant field.
- Work Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.

Physical Requirements
- Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping.
- Long periods of computer time or at workstation.
- Lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
- May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise.
