Supervisor, Co-Pack

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee operation of our new automated packaging line on 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).

Responsibilities

• Follow established operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
• Ensure training is completed (OSHA equipment, compliance, etc.) and records are maintained for OSHA, customer, and other audits.
• Manage key operational requirements within budget and according to customers' requirements.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction through strong understanding of customer expectations.
• Address and help resolve customer complaints both verbally and in writing.
• Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision; communicate them to subordinates.
• Complete operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, maintaining reference manuals, and implementing new procedures.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Receive complaints and resolve problems.
• Maintain timekeeping and personnel records by inputting payroll data (hours, comments) for hourly direct reports daily and approving weekly.
• Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures; undertake disciplinary actions if needed.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
• Handle accident reporting and investigation (injury management, witness statements, reporting).
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices; report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; BS/BA in Logistics/Supply Chain, general business, or relevant field is preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least three years of proven experience as a supervisor or relevant role in a distribution, 3PL, or warehouse environment.
• Experience with 5S and continuous improvement programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and WMS software.
• Experience with timekeeping; ADP E-time is a plus.

Pay

Salary Range: $67,000 - $72,000
