About the role

Are you a skilled and compassionate clinician who thrives in both leadership and hands-on care? We're seeking a Float Inpatient Clinical Supervisor who is ready to make a difference—both at the bedside and in shaping a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, hands-on patient care, ensuring safe, high-quality treatment while leading by example.
  • Cook up daily clinical operations, helping the unit run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Support and guide clinical staff, holding team members accountable to the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance.
  • Interpret and communicate policies and procedures clearly to staff, patients, and families.
  • Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and safety, promoting a positive and respectful work environment for all.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience including one year experience in pediatric nursing.
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure, Current and valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support, Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Current and valid certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 180 Days.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Current and valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required (ED and CCU only) within 180 Days.
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation, Current and valid certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) required (NICU only).
