Job Description

  • Responsible for managing daily activities of Oil Stores personnel.
  • Maintain UAWCAS reporting, Hourly timekeeping in Workday, and approve Vacations.
  • Communicate with Engineering Team peers in various cross-functional projects.
  • Work and communicate with hourly personnel to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and Allison restrictions and requirements.
  • Train and develop employees in areas concerning chemical processing, environmental, and safety.
  • Plan and schedule chemical, safety, and processing-related meetings, programs, and projects in accordance with Allison policies and procedures.
  • Complete work assignments within budget, manpower, and timing constraints.
  • Produce quality, financial, environmental, and performance reports per the Allison system.
  • Implement and actively support the plant and corporate safety policies and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent experience in manufacturing, supervision, or industrial chemicals.
  • 1+ years supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of basic chemistry.
  • 1+ years working in industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience working with industrial chemicals and their interaction with metallurgy.
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
