Supervisor - Cardiac Cath Lab

About the role

The Supervisor Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for leading and overseeing Heart and Vascular services, including the Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, and Peripheral Vascular Labs. They serve as both a clinical leader and operational manager, focusing on orientation, training, competency assessments, and daily lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Assess lab activities for quality and compliance
• Support clinical staff development
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission
• Analyze equipment needs and manage equipment justifications
• Facilitate collaboration across departments
• Strengthen physician-hospital relationships to improve patient care and organizational efficiency
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Perform supervisor duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or allied health
• At least three years of Cath Lab experience
• Certification as RCIS or RCES
