Supervisor Accounts Payable

About the role

As a Supervisor, Accounts Payable at FARO CREAFORM, you will oversee the daily accounts payable function, support a talented team, and play a key role in ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations across our global organization. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable team to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant operations
• Coach, support, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Oversee invoice processing, vendor account reconciliations, and payment requests while ensuring adherence to established deadlines
• Review and approve payment runs, ensuring the accuracy of transactions and alignment with cash management objectives
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies, invoice issues, and escalated concerns
• Participate in month-end and year-end close activities, including account analysis, accruals, and reconciliations related to accounts payable
• Establish, monitor, and maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements
• Analyze departmental performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service levels
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and implementing corrective actions when required
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, automation projects, and enhancements to financial systems and ERP tools used across FARO CREAFORM's global operations
• Demonstrate ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs; identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or financial operations
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and ERP systems
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $93,000.
