About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Supervising Physician Psychiatry - Eating Disorders (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication management for diverse age groups
- Perform routine chart audits and coaching to meet compliance metrics
- Be available for clinical consults and case escalations from team members
- Execute collaborative practice agreements with APPs for behavioral health programming
- Monitor patients' medical and psychiatric stability in a virtual setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide guidelines and care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and external healthcare providers
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Active, unrestricted medical license, with a willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
- 3+ years of clinical practice with experience in supervising APPs
- Competence in eating disorder medical management and psychiatric/medical stability monitoring
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
