Discover a more connected career at TelCom Construction. As a Telecommunications Supervisor Construction, you'll supervise and implement the company's construction program, ensuring each job site adheres to construction rules, practices, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations
• Complete assigned projects
• Communicate and lead job Foremen and crew members
• Organize materials, equipment, and labor
• Verify locates, materials, and billings
• Prepare required job reports
• Complete as-builts and redlines
• Participate actively in and take responsibility for safety, maintenance, production, and personnel-related initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous utility construction crew leadership experience required
• Experience with telecommunication MSA contracts preferred
• Good computer skills, especially in database software and Excel
• Prior experience with Google applications is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Out-of-town travel and on-call availability required
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Class A CDL license a plus

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (non-provisional)
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain one
• Pass a DOT physical exam resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• Previous construction experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces, and in remote locations, climb stairs, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
