Superintendent - Savannah, Ga

Our client is a top-ranked, East Coast-headquartered commercial construction general contractor expanding their base-building portfolio in light industrial construction. With a recent office opening in Savannah, GA, they employ about 10 local staff and 170 total employees across two offices. About the role

• Primary site leader for all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Establish project plan and maintain weekly progress
• Manage and coordinate all job site operations, labor, and subcontractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery
• Maintain positive relationships with owners, design consultants, and project managers
• Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility representatives for compliance
• Strictly enforce safety program and manage quality control
• Prepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules
• Manage accurate invoice payments and project financials
• Resolve day-to-day field issues
• Prepare daily reports including manpower and significant activities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a superintendent running construction projects
• Experience with ground-up commercial projects
• Knowledge in construction management or related field (preferred)
• Must have base-building experience
