Superintendent - Medical Construction

Responsibilities
- Manage overall quality and production of work and conformance to contract documents.
- Manage/maintain all necessary planning, direction, coordination, and budgeting for project activities.
- Cook up with the Project Manager daily.
- Cook up with the Owner as necessary.
- Manage/subordinate subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, AHJ field coordination, daily.
- Attend the pre-construction conference and pre-work meetings including three phase inspection meetings.
- Manage/maintain weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Attend/participate in weekly Owner’s meetings.
- Review and be knowledgeable of subcontractor’s subcontracted scope of work.
- Manage all coordination necessary to complete the scopes of work and prevent extra work or lost time to the greatest extent possible.
- Be familiar with the subcontractor’s budget and cost structure.
- Review and be knowledgeable of the Baseline Project Schedule.
- Provide input on dates, durations, and coordination, monthly.
- Prepare short-term detailed look ahead schedules, weekly.
- Request, prepare, and hold coordination meetings as necessary to support the project schedule.
- Coordinate monthly with the subcontractors and Owner for progress billing.
- Oversee quality control and safety programs.
- Supervise deliveries, staging, loading, and unloading.
- Supervise equipment usage on site such as cranes or earth moving equipment.
- Ensure project conformance to national and/or local building codes.
- Maintain accurate daily records.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in construction management for medical facilities.
- QCM-C certification.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on similar federal projects.
- Experience with Procore.
- Experience with RMS.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF.
Qualifications
- American Society for Healthcare Engineering (AHSE) Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) or the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) Certification.

Pay
This position's salary range is $120,000 - $140,000 annually.
Schedule
This position is located in West Point, NY. The ideal candidate is located in or near West Point, NY but is willing and able to travel for work on future projects.
