Superintendent (Major Projects)

Description Of Duties & Scope

• Managing and providing leadership for safety and environmental programs
• Making sure the project stays on budget and on time
• Coordinating all the workers, materials, and equipment needed for the job
• Putting together a plan for how the job will be done and making sure it happens
• Watching over and helping train the electricians who work on the job
• Working alongside other teams like prefabrication, purchasing, and accounting

Qualifications

• Journeyman Trade Certification in a related Construction trade will be considered an asset
• A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget
• Good at organizing things and paying close attention to details
• Can handle lots of different jobs at once and meet deadlines
• Good at leading others and communicating
• Knows how to use computers and can use them to help with the job
• Has the right certifications like OSHA 30 and CPR First Aid

Physical Demands

• Must be able to work in all kinds of weather and conditions
• Must be able to use the bathroom at the job site
• Must wear safety gear like a hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and carry heavy objects
