Superintendent - Insulation

Responsibilities

• Supervise crews and ensure production schedules, work orders, and assignments are achieved according to guidelines and timelines.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders and company policies and procedures to employees.
• Report job and schedule status to manager as appropriate.
• Identify and resolve issues that prevent work order completion or impact scheduling.
• Perform Job Site Inspections (JSIs).
• Oversee quality of work performed and report any discrepancies.
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment and construction sites to verify safety, and ensure that specifications are met.
• Conduct daily safety meetings with work crews and create a culture for working safely.
• Provide On‑Job Training (OJT) through self or others, to workers to ensure work is being performed in accordance with company specifications and procedures.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibility as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Experience in construction trades and leading a crew.
• Bi‑lingual English/Spanish (preferred).

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. It also requires good hand‑eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Travel Requirements

Local travel required, less than 25 % of time. May need to work overtime and weekends as required.

Pay

Compensation Range: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour. Actual offers depend on location, experience, skills, and market data. Variable compensation may also be offered.
