About the Role
Provide a daily client update including project progress report and photographs; keep a daily log of what took place on-site for each project while working directly with assistant superintendent to drive and create 3-6 week look-ahead schedule. Communicate with the client daily about the project and be prepared to answer their questions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent or other related fields
- Healthcare or Education project experience preferred
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
