Superintendent II (Project Lead)

The Superintendent 2 (Project Lead) is responsible for field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project. They ensure the work is performed in a safe, timely, profitable, and ethical manner, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule. They directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and QA/QC culture on-site.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities.
• Collaborate with schedulers to create and manage the master construction schedule.
• Plan project logistics and execution.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and subcontractor contracts.
• Mentor and manage other Superintendents.

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven construction experience.
• 5+ years as a Safety and QA/QC Cultural Champion.
• 5+ years effectively coordinating subcontractor activities.
• 3+ years experience helping create a master schedule and managing it during construction.
• 3+ years experience planning projects and creating logistic plans.
• 2+ years experience reading and understanding plans, specifications, and subcontractor contracts.
• 2+ years experience mentoring and managing other Superintendents.
