Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
  • Lead project execution from site development and foundation work through framing, MEP installations, finishes, and occupancy.
  • Coordinate daily field operations and maintain project schedules with the project management team.
  • Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors, ownership representatives, architects, and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Track project milestones, identify schedule risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, daily reports, and safety records.
  • Drive quality control processes and manage punch list completion through project closeout.
  • Foster a collaborative and professional jobsite environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of construction experience with significant multifamily project experience.
  • Prior experience serving as Lead Superintendent on at least one ground-up wood-frame multifamily development exceeding 200 units.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception through completion and turnover.
  • Strong knowledge of wood-frame construction methods, sequencing, building systems, and site logistics.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades in occupied or active construction environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Proficient with construction management software and field reporting tools.
  • Stable employment history with a track record of successfully completed multifamily projects.
