Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
- Supervise all onsite construction, including subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement project schedules, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources.
- Cook up with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure all parties are informed of project status, changes, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, addressing any issues that arise and quickly finding solutions.
- Foster a culture of safety and ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on Electrical Construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing electrical construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Proficient in construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
- Able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as needed.
