Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
  • Supervise all onsite construction, including subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources.
  • Cook up with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure all parties are informed of project status, changes, and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, addressing any issues that arise and quickly finding solutions.
  • Foster a culture of safety and ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on Electrical Construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing electrical construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Proficient in construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as needed.
