Superintendent - Deep Foundations / Geotechnical

About the role

Responsible for overseeing deep foundation and geotechnical projects, including site inspections, material testing, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction teams in the execution of deep foundation and geotechnical projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success.
• Perform site inspections and conduct material tests as needed.
• Prepare and present reports on project progress and findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in deep foundations and geotechnical engineering.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with project management software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Experience with geotechnical equipment and instruments.
• Knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical principles.
