Superintendent - Construction - Queens

About the role

Manage all daily field operations and construction activities.
Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
Develop and maintain short-term project schedules.
Enforce OSHA standards and company safety programs.
Conduct daily site walks and quality control inspections.
Coordinate work between multiple trades and stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and drive schedule adherence.
Review construction drawings and project specifications.
Lead subcontractor coordination and safety meetings.
Maintain site logistics in an active urban environment.
Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
Prepare daily reports and project documentation.
Support project closeout and turnover activities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 7+ years of Superintendent experience within the construction industry
• Experience managing projects throughout New York City
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
• Thorough understanding of NYC building codes and regulations
• Proven success delivering projects safely and on schedule
• Experience overseeing commercial, multifamily, healthcare, industrial, or mixed-use projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trade partners

• Competitive base salary: $130,000 - $180,000+
