Superintendent - Bridge/Highway Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership on bridge and heavy civil projects
• Plan daily and weekly work activities to keep production on track
• Cook up crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials across the job-site
• Review plans, specifications, and schedules ahead of work being performed
• Work closely with project managers, owners, engineers, and inspectors throughout the job
• Maintain productivity, schedule progress, and manpower needs
• Solve field issues quickly and keep work moving in the right direction
• Promote and enforce safe work practices across all site activities
• Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and general field documentation
• Ensure work is completed to project requirements and quality standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent or senior field leadership role within bridge or heavy civil construction
• Strong background in bridge structures, transportation work, or related structural civil scopes
• Comfortable managing crews and coordinating multiple moving parts in the field
• Good understanding of sequencing, production planning, and job-site logistics
• Able to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Committed to safety, quality, and reliable project execution
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
