Superintendent - Autonomous Haulage System (AHS)

Key Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on technical support for AHS operations, including troubleshooting autonomous systems, fleet management software, and integrated mining technologies.
• Maintain system availability, reliability, and performance to meet operational targets.
• Aid in the coordination of field activities, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain system uptime while upholding Komatsu’s standards for safety, quality, and customer service.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience in mining, heavy equipment, or technology environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mining, heavy equipment, or related technical field.
• Experience supporting autonomous systems, fleet management systems, or advanced mining technologies preferred.
• Experience coordinating or leading field-based work teams.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and/or autonomous technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in field environments.
• Familiarity with system deployment and operational support processes.
