Superintendent

Responsibilities
- Manage & monitor construction activity to maintain compliance with contract specs and company quality & safety standards
- Prepare labor production budget & establishes & maintains labor control in coordination with superintendents & reviews cost reports with General Superintendent or PM
- Interface with General Superintendent to settle any union jurisdictional disputes that may arise. Works cooperatively & proactively to maintain labor union relations
- Monitor schedule with General Superintendent & Project Engineers, assign work to field personnel
- Schedule safety meetings and administers jobsite mobilization
- Participate in preconstruction meetings
- Review & verify weekly quantities
- Cover special inspections as required
- Ensure subcontractors follow Safety Procedures
- Communicate job status to Project Manager and other management team members on a regular basis
- Always represent Company with professionalism & a commitment to quality
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- 7 or more years’ experience in field construction and 3 or more years as a superintendent
- Excellent knowledge of construction, craft activities, cost control schedules & safety
- Ability to work independently while working in a strong team environment
- Ability to prioritize work to accommodate deadlines with minimum supervision
- Proficiency and working experience in Microsoft Office Platform
- Experience with Prolog or similar software
- Previous experience in construction of hotels or casinos preferred
- Previous experience on projects over $50M is preferred
