Superintendent

Role Priorities / Responsibilities

• Create a safe work environment by recognizing unsafe working conditions and making the appropriate corrections.
• Ensure employees are aware of their environment and any existing or potential hazards and are compliant with Stallion Safety policies and standards.
• Ensure optimum asset utilization by managing local inventory (usage and tracking).
• Affirm necessary asset maintenance is performed (required maintenance and ad-hoc repairs) or notifying appropriate management to maintenance requirements.
• Afford appropriate staffing levels and work schedules to optimized and manage work hours, OT hours in particular, to ensure a safe working environment and overall profitability.
• Afford assistance in managing employee performance and take appropriate disciplinary action (up to and including termination) when required.
• Liaise with local customer representatives to ensure Stallion is providing quality customer service.

Essential Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Excellent customer service skills and orientation.
• Previous supervisory and or management experience in construction environments is preferred.
• Effective at assigning and reviewing daily work tasks of direct reports.
• Clear and concise verbal communication skills.

Education Or Certification Required (if Applicable): High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
