Essential Job Functions
- Maintain and enforce safety standards; oversee safety planning, execution, and documentation.
- Provide final sign-off on safety documents and daily reports.
- Lead project planning efforts; develop and execute pre-job plans and determine construction techniques.
- Develop and maintain the Site Utilization Plan.
- Review monthly subcontractor pay applications to ensure alignment with actual work installed.
- Expedite vendors and subcontractors daily and weekly; resolve field issues to maintain schedule.
- Cook up equipment needs with the Project Manager.
- Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings with all relevant field supervision.
- Participate in the development and updates of CPM schedules, including baseline, monthly updates, narratives, and delay fragnets.
- Manage the Quality Control Program (SPQP) and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost records.
- Comply with all jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports, SOS entries, weekly unit reports, and two-week look-ahead updates.
- Manage a clean, organized, professional job site.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Physical Activities And Requirements
- Regular physical activity, including walking, standing for extended periods of time, and working in various outdoor conditions as part of daily field operations.
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather, if needed.
- This may include climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Occasional office work will be required.
- Occasional heavy lifting (=50 lbs./=22.7 + kg) can be expected, though exertion of up to 10lbs of force is more common.
- Strong manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment (e.g. computers, mobile devices, copiers, etc.).
Required Skills And Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Two or more years in a leadership role.
