Job Responsibilities
- Scheduling
- Maintains and updates the CPM schedule during construction of the project.
- Reviews schedule updates with the Project Manager.
- Ensures procurement of tools and materials are delivered at specified times to meet work schedules.
- Able to identify schedule risk and create plans to mitigate risk.
- Ensures the project schedule adheres to the contracted terms and captures the delays with support of the project team as needed.
- Risk Management
- Studies specifications to plan for construction based on contract dates, labor, and equipment requirements for each phase of construction.
- Interprets the contract documents to ensure complete conformance with plans and specifications.
- Completes daily reports in Procore.
- Reviews and reports on all self-perform divisions production budget and cost.
- Site Management
- Serves as the Haselden representative at the jobsite who is responsible for continuous field supervision, Field coordination, and project completion.
- Responsible for overall project supervision to ensure appropriate personnel, budget, and schedules are met.
- Responsible for managing subcontractors through the duration of the project.
- Participates in and conducts project's subcontractor and owner meetings.
- Conducts Plan of the Day (POD) with subcontractors before the start of work.
- A Degree in Engineering/Construction Management at a College or University.
- Procore, Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam experience is a must.
- Strong scheduling, QA/QC, safety, and field management experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate in written/verbal form as it relates to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Seven to Ten (7 - 10) years of on-the-job experience required.
- Willing to travel regionally based on project need.
- Ability to drive through the course of work as needed.
- In-depth knowledge of construction operations specifically construction specifications, building materials, methods, and procedures.
- Experience working for a general contractor in commercial construction.
- Demonstrates great work ethic and positive attitude daily.
