Responsibilities
- Drive the vision and strategic direction of the school, ensuring alignment with the mission and values of Evansville Christian School.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with faculty, staff, students, parents, and the broader community.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth of students.
- Ensure the financial health and sustainability of the school, working closely with the Board of Trustees and administration.
- Develop and lead a team of administrators and staff to foster a collaborative and supportive environment that promotes student success.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education and school leadership.
- Represent the school at various events and functions, building relationships with key stakeholders and potential partners.
- Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to ensure effective governance and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- A strong commitment to the Christian faith and its integration into all aspects of school life.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in educational leadership, preferably in a similar setting.
- Experience in strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse groups of people.
- Proven track record of successful leadership and management of a large, diverse organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a Board of Trustees and other stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of educational trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role at a school of comparable size and complexity.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations affecting schools.
- Experience in fundraising and grant writing.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The Head of School / President will be expected to work a standard 40-hour workweek, with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities as needed.
