Superintendent
Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage 20+ subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Ensure subcontractors execute their work scope and address any deficiencies identified by the project team.
- Lead subcontractor and preconstruction meetings to facilitate work coordination.
- Perform quality control checks on the work performed.
- Identify and resolve conflicts and issues in the construction process in collaboration with the project team.
- Communicate effectively with the project team regarding issues, material submittals, and RFIs.
- Maintain a daily log of job site activities using daily reporting software.
- Ensure compliance with local township requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Ensure all subcontractors adhere to OSHA and Speedwell Safety Standards.
Essential Skills
- 3 years of superintendent experience in construction and project management.
- Experience with commercial construction, particularly hotel projects.
- Ground-up new builds experience, including footers.
- Experience working with general contractors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with change orders and two-week look-aheads.
- Experience managing subcontractors.
- Previous experience with gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants is a plus.
Work Environment
- The position offers a dynamic work environment with multiple project locations, including Bartonsville, PA (hotel project), Mill Hall, PA (Wawa project), and Philadelphia, PA (restaurant).
- Multistory experience is required for the Bartonsville location, and gas station experience is preferred for Mill Hall.
- The projects involve breaking new ground and renovation work, requiring a professional demeanor and the ability to work with diverse teams.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
