Superintendent (5-15 years)

This permanent Superintendent role oversees day-to-day construction activities for property projects across New York, coordinating site operations to keep work moving safely and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities to keep construction work aligned with project plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to maintain steady project progress.
• Review work completed on site and address issues that affect quality or timing.
• Monitor project schedules and communicate updates to the construction department.
• Maintain site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and activity logs.
• Coordinate deliveries and site access to keep work areas ready for planned activities.
• Promote safe work practices across the job site and address site safety concerns.
• Work with project stakeholders to resolve day-to-day construction matters.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing construction site activities.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.
• Ability to read project plans and track construction schedules.
• Experience maintaining daily site reports and project documentation.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
• Ability to identify site issues and coordinate practical solutions.

Pay

Salary range: $126,000 to $154,000 per year.
