Sunday Morning Babysitter for Church Nursery

Hope Presbyterian Church in New Braunfels is seeking an outgoing and welcoming babysitter to assist with childcare on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

You will be caring for children ranging from 3 months to 4 years old in one of three classrooms: Babies (3 months‑walking), Toddlers (1‑2 years), or Preschool (3‑4 years). You will be paired with an adult volunteer from our church who is background‑checked and available to help you.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the children and provide a safe, fun environment.
• Change diapers as needed.
• Ensure a smooth and welcoming drop‑off experience for both children and parents.
• After the children are picked up, clean and restore the room to its original condition, including tidying toys, snacks, and crafts using provided wipes and vacuum if necessary.
• Refrain from using your phone during the shift except in emergencies; taking pictures of the kids is not permitted.

Requirements

• Outgoing, welcoming, and reliable demeanor.
• Ability to care for infants and preschool‑age children.
• Willingness to work alongside a background‑checked adult volunteer.
• Commitment to maintaining a phone‑free environment (except emergencies) and respecting privacy by not photographing children.
