SUN Field Trainer

Position Summary

The SUN Field Trainer leads SUN events and partner outreaching. The position is open to Hearing and Deaf candidates, and it is a necessary requirement to be fluent in ASL. This is a volunteer ministry opportunity but is also open to anyone who interested in raising financial support.

Job Responsibilities

• Leads SUN events on the field
• Manages the field team during trips
• Nurtures partner relationships
• Must be willing and able to communicate in ASL

Professional Qualifications

• Effective communicator
• Fluent in ASL
• Valid passport, willing to travel internationally, and receive necessary vaccinations
• Demonstrated record of being a team player
• Good writing skills
• Computer literate

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Sense of call from God to Deaf ministry
• Genuine caring for people
• Ability to be a spiritual leader
• Ability to be at ease with diverse cultures and backgrounds
• Healthy level of self-confidence

• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
• High energy level and readiness to take on a significant challenge
