Summer Worker-Biogas Technician- Leoti, KS
About the role
The Biogas Technician will work in a team environment to operate, maintain, and repair the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities' equipment.
Responsibilities
- Aid plant operators with daily operational support activities.
- Clean WMP, SMP, and Lift Station buildings.
- Clean compressor skid areas.
- Clean and maintain areas around 3K.
- Weed wack around ADLs and area 3K.
- Remove rainwater from ADL covers.
- Remove tumbleweeds around ADLs and area 3K.
- Assist operators with nitrogen bottle swaps when the plant is running.
- Support housekeeping efforts to maintain clean, safe, and organized facilities.
- Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
- Communicate with equipment CORE COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS IN ALL ROLES: instills trust, communicates effectively, action-oriented, ensures accountability, and drives results.
Qualifications
- Available to work from May 11 through August 7.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
Schedule
This position works Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required as needed based on business needs, site conditions, or special circumstances.
