Summer - Utility Steward Food Service - part-time

About the role

Responsible for managing utility systems and food service operations in a summer camp setting. Duties include maintaining equipment, preparing meals, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair utility systems including water, electricity, and waste management.
• Prepare and serve meals to campers and staff in accordance with dietary requirements and schedules.
• Ensure all food service operations comply with health and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep facilities clean and operational.
• Communicate effectively with camp leadership and other staff members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food service or utility management preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills
