About the program
The Summer Science Program (SSP) is one of the most rigorous and selective academic summer programs in the world. It offers two research tracks: Astrophysics (where students track asteroids and calculate their orbits using real telescopes) and Biochemistry (where they investigate protein structures). It takes place at universities in the U.S. for 39 days. Need-based financial aid is available — no student has been rejected due to lack of funds. Only ~36 students are accepted per session.
