Summer Program - Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist Temporary Laborers in performing tasks such as shoveling materials, leveling areas, loading/unloading supplies, cleaning streets and parking lots, mowing grass, trimming shrubs, and trimming lower parts of trees.
• Use standard hand tools and small power tools like shovels, weed whackers, lawn mowers, sidewalk vacuums, and hedge trimmers.
• Work both inside and outside, including in adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

• Reports to: Recycling Depot, 301 Oak Hill Way, or other locations as determined by the Supervisor.
• Part of the Summer Youth Program, supervised by the Refuse General Foreman, Director of Operations, or the DPW Commissioner.
