Summer Play Guides

Responsibilities

• Monitor exhibit components and help manage lines in fun gallery activities like the Laser Maze, Our World, the Scramble and the Rainbow Car Wash!
• Greet visitor families and help kids take turns and play safely.
• Absorb in arts and craft activities, help maintain supplies and workspaces, engage visitors in their work, and assist program facilitators in running special programs.
• Cut materials such as paper, fabric, cardboard or yarn down to specific sizes, sort materials, prepp clay, etc.

Requirements

• Flexible scheduling available from 3-hr shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.
• Shifts include morning, afternoon, and evening options on select Fridays and Saturdays.
• Volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts on the same day if desired.
• Volunteers can be stationed together if coming as a pair or group of friends or family.

Qualifications

• All volunteers over 18 must pass a background check at no cost to you prior to volunteering.
