Summer Partime Custodian

About the role

The Summer Part Time Custodian will clean and maintain the school building and grounds, set up equipment for special events, and assist school personnel with work requests. This is a temporary position for the summer only.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains the school building and grounds
• Sets up equipment for special events
• Affords assistance to school personnel with work requests

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years or older

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write and perform basic mathematical calculations
• Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures

This is a temporary position for the summer only. Salary Grade 2: $16.41 per hour (2026 - 2027 Support Salary Table)

Schedule

5.9 hours per day for 52 days

Note: Promotions result in a 5% minimum increase
